Multimedia.

One of the latest technologies today is the HD television and it's usage. TV's now a days are really thin, and most likely hang-able on the wall. They produce high definition to it's max; meaning clear pictures and voices.

A second item I chose was the infamous Xbox 360. We own 2 of them as well as 2 Wii's and other devices. I chose the Xbox because it's one of the most played games and consoles us teens are using lately. One of the popular games is COD. Call of Duty; Black Ops. Which 9O% of the guys play if they're into video games. I think it's one of the most amazing things invented, yet sad. Yes it can distribute other things as movies, shows, and music; but it can also harm you and leave you lifeless.

My third item I choose was my laptop. ( Sorry it looks worn out, but it's really not. It's just dirty.) I think it's very important to me because I have all my information there. As well as my other computer. It's pretty portable, and easy to manage. Compared to the old ones and such.

My fourth item was the iPhone 4s. Since 2001, Apple has became more and more popular with it's devices and gadgets they distribute yearly. I was lucky enough to catch Apple's down time and get myself the latest Apple technology; the iPhone 4s in white. The iPhone is a powerful, popular device a lot of people have now a days. You can pretty much do anything with it. But is it affecting our society instead of improving it? Will in 5O years, society be obese due to gadgets and everything being close to them that we don't have to struggle in order to receive it? We will find out.

As my final product I chose was the Apple headphones. Headphones in general. I love music. It keeps me going daily. When there's days I forget my headphones, I feel weird and misplaced. But, can these harm you as well? Society is deaf. We listen to music daily more than what we listen to actual humans. We connect the white wires into our ears and ignore the world. It's fine to use them, but not take advantage of them.

  1. I really like your line towards the very end where you say "society is deaf," and how we don't listen to humans. That's a great line and you could write an entire post on that if you wanted to, it seems to me. It just reminds me of a lot of the discussions we've had where the point comes up that we sometimes have better relationships w/ our electronic gadgets than w people.
