My First English 1A Blog Post.

My advertisement I chose was the new iPhone 5. Apple released it less than a week ago. Apple is known for their awesome and slimness products. They sell Apple products like candy, fast and quick. The iPhone 4 and 4s were one of Apple's biggest hits. They made quick sales over the last two years. It relates incredibly to our American culture today. People now a days are on the go, and with Apple, anything is possible. You can pretty much do anything with your iPhone. Now with the iPhone 5, you can do more awesome things. Apple doesn't even have to advertise their products on TV to make sells. The slickness of the iPhone and it's physical features are enough to make someone want to buy it.

  1. I'm really intrigued by your Headline-Destroy everything you love, before everything you love destroys you

Is that a quote, song lyric, or something you made up? Either way, it's a good "grabber."

Good point about iphones-you can pretty much anything.

Glad to have you back in class this semester. It should be fun.

  3. If you love it, you should destroy it before it destroys you. I'm just kidding about that.

I definitely agree with you that the iPhone is in a way part of our culture. It reflects what our culture desires. People love computers and macs are really simple. The iPhone a smart phone that is so simple , but it can do so much. We all know they can go online, but with all of these applications you can really do so much more than that.

I have an iPhone and I have an application for screenwriting, I can actually work on a script anywhere I go. There's photoshop and iMovie applications and the list not only goes on, but it continues to grow because more and more applications are being created.

It's crazy how fast these phones and technology is progressing, I mean we're already at the iPhone 5. How far will it go? In 20 years what iPhone will we be at? 13?

It's going to be really interesting to see how far these little smartphones go in the future, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
